CHAIRMAN |
Loay Hisham Nazer, founder and Executive Chairman
of the Nazer Group, received a Bachelor's Degree in
Mechanical Engineering from the University of California
in Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1987, followed in 1989 by his
Master's Degree in Business Administration from the
Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.
He was elected to serve for the year 2006-2007 as
Chairman of the International Board of Directors of the
Young Presidents Organization, a global non-profit
organization of Chairmen and CEOs under the age of 50.
Additionally, Mr. Nazer was selected by the World
Economic Forum as a member of the Young Global Leaders (YGL)
which is designated as a community of extraordinary
leaders under the age of 40.
In 2003 Mr. Nazer was elected and continues to serve as
the Vice Chairman of the National Insurance Committee at
the Saudi Chamber of Commerce and is one of the leading
negotiators with various governmental institutions for
the development of the insurance market in Saudi Arabia.
In 2002 he served as Vice Chairman of the International
Relations Committee at the Jeddah Chamber. In 2001 Mr.
Nazer was named as a Board Member of the Jeddah
Marketing Board, which organizes the most prominent
business and economic forum in the Middle East, the
Jeddah Economic Forum, and is responsible for the
development of the City of Jeddah as a center of
regional and international conferences and exhibitions.
He is a member of the American Business Group of Jeddah.
Mr. Nazer also serves on the Board of Trustees of the
Jordan Foundation for Education, which is chaired by Her
Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdallah.
From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Nazer was a Board Member of the
Harvard Institute for Social and Economic Policy Board
in the Middle East and was Chairman of its Executive
Committee. In June 2005 he was awarded an Honorary
Doctorate of Humane Letters from Goodwin College in
Connecticut, USA.
Mr. Nazer lectures regionally on globalization and the
impact on regional economic development. He has been
quoted many times in the Western press on issues related
to Saudi Arabia and has been interviewed on CNN’s
Business Today. |

systems. He has over twenty (20) years of
experience in the healthcare/medical field. To
utilize his broad knowledge and experience with
government hospitals, private medical companies
for the overall benefit of NGL & AMCO.
Abdulrahman is the member of the Medical
Committee of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and a
member of the National Health Council of The
Saudi Chambers of Commerce. |

Tal Nazer
Managing Director
BUPA Arabia
Holding an MBA from THE WHARTON SCHOOL,
Pennsylvania, USA (Finance and Buyouts, May
2001) and a BA in Economics from UNIVERSITY OF
CALIFORNIA AT LOS ANGELES, (UCLA, California,
USA, Dec 1996), Tal Nazer is currently the
Managing Director of BUPA Middle East, a leading
private medical insurer based in Saudi Arabia.
He was previously the Customer Service &
Operations Director of the company, driving it
to its current premier position by focusing on
streamlined operations and high levels of
customer satisfaction.
Tal worked previously as the Structured Finance
Manager for National Commercial Bank. He also
worked as an associate for ORYX CAPITAL,
(Illinois, USA) after taking part in the MERRILL
LYNCH, (London, UK) Executive training program.
Tal enjoys strong ties to the business community
in Saudi Arabia, currently holding the following
positions: Board Member, Jeddah Chamber of
Commerce & Industry Insurance Committee; Board
Member, National Centre for Health Insurance
Standards; Vice Chairman, Nazer Group; and Board
Member, Arabian Medical Marketing Co. Ltd.

MOHAMED A. AL AYED
President & CEO,
TRACCS & Arab Conferences Company
Mohamed A. Al Ayed is a Saudi national from Hail
who has established himself as one of the
leading practitioners of public relations in the
Middle East. Al Ayed began his career in 1992 as
a Public Relations Officer for Saudi Arabian
Marketing and Refining Company (SAMAREC - now
Saudi Aramco). In 1994 he joined the country’s
first dedicated public relations company as a
media relations officer/account executive rising
quickly to become Group Accounts Director.
During his tenure at this company he developed
systems and procedures for serving clients as
well as organizing and implementing recruitment
and training of Saudi account executives,
virtually pioneering the field of commercial PR
in Saudi Arabia.
In 1998 he founded Saudi Creative Communications
Services (SACCS) with 3 leading clients. Later
in 2001, Al Ayed became the President & CEO of
Trans-Arabian Creative Communications Services (TRACCS),
expanding the Saudi based company into a new PR
network for the Middle East, which currently has
ten offices across the Middle East. In 2005 Al
Ayed founded Arab Conferences Company, Saudi
Arabia's first dedicated and specialized
conferences organizer. Being an active
spokesperson on public relations issues, he
spoke at the ICCO conference held in Prague,
IPRA Conferences that were held in Dubai and
Cairo and delivered a keynote speech on the PR
Congress held in Dubai. Al Ayed had conducted
various media training for top executives of
leading companies across the region.
A believer and practitioner of Corporate Social
Responsibility, Al Ayed organized the first CSR
Forum in the Kingdom and also chaired the first
CSR Conference held in Kuwait. He is also a
member of the International Public Relations
Association (IPRA), the International
Association of Business Leaders (IABL), and was
also re-elected as the Director of the Western
Province for the IPRA’s Arabian Gulf Chapter.
Mohamed Al Ayed took a high honors degree in
Modern Languages with minors in French and
Spanish, from Eastern Oregon State University in
the USA in 1991. He was honored with many awards
including the University’s most outstanding
foreign language student. He is fluent in
Arabic, English, French, and Spanish and
proficient in German.

Sarah Ayed M. Al Ayed
Vice President & MD,

Sarah Al-Ayed is co founder of Saudi Creative
Communications Services (SACCS), the first
entirely Saudi public relations company that has
grown to become the region’s leading PR public
relations group with offices in Jeddah (HQ),
Riyadh, Dubai, Cairo, Amman and Kuwait and
affiliate offices in Oman, Lebanon and Syria.
Educated at the American School in Amman,
Jordan, she received a BA in English Literature
and Linguistics from King Abdul Aziz University
in Jeddah in 1997. Currently Vice-President of
SACCS TRACCS and Managing Director of SACCS KSA,
Sarah is an accomplished and experienced PR
practionner and has directed major regional and
multi-national accounts, including the annual
Jeddah Economic Forum (2004 - 2007).
As an active participant in handling Corporate
Social Responsibility projects and initiatives,
she is currently developing the overall CSR
umbrella for a number of local and regional
clients in the Kingdom and has been working
extensively with NGO’s on a regional and
international level to further enhance the CSR
identity and process in the Kingdom. She is also
a member of the PR and media committee and is
the PR consultant for the National Home Health
Care Foundation in the Western Region of Saudi
Arabia and was a member in the first Saudi
Businesswomen’s Committee (that was part of JCCI)
and has spoke at numerous regional and
international conferences.

Ahmed Fuad Nazir
Managing Director, STARC
Ahmed Fuad Nazir, Managing Director, joined
STARC in 2004 as a partner after spending over
14 years in investment banking and private
equity. He worked previously at the Saudi
Arabian Monetary Agency, Saudi International
Bank and Bahrain International Bank in New York,
London, Riyadh and Bahrain. He has served as a
board member on several private and listed
companies including a listed company providing
services to the oil & gas sectors. He holds a BA
(Hons) from Harvard University and an MBA from
Columbia University.
